WE DESIGN --- Apart from some traditional tribal baskets, we design all of our products in-house and then have them manufactured by our world-wide network of artisans. They use only top quality, mostly natural, materials and their fantastic skills, to create our unusual and stylish collection.The lack of the usual long chain of middle-men means that while offering to you, our valued customers, the most reasonable prices possible, we are still able to reward our artisans well and improve their lifestyle.

About Us
Les Ateliers Creatifs is a "Fair Trade" company based near London but with a network of Artisan Manufacturers world-wide. Some products that we sell are traditional in the areas of the world where the artisans operate, but most of our products are designed in-house. We often use natural materials in manufacture such as Silk, Jute, Linen, Cotton, Leather, but where appropriate we also use some modern man-made materials or "blends" of materials.Much attention is devoted to maintaining good design, and a high quality level both in materials and in manufacture. We do not operate in the area of "high fashion" but prefer to offer "classic" designed products with less fast-moving fashion trends. We sell our products on-line, and at consumer exhibitions and you will not find them generally "in the high street" but since we also sell wholesale to a carefully selected number of retailers, you may come across them in the more tasteful and up-market independent shops.
